Hi, my name is Sarah, and I am a registered and experienced trauma-informed  therapist, with over ten years of varied expertise in support work, I am dedicated to providing a safe, professional and empathic environment for my clients to explore what is affecting their wellbeing in day-to-day life.

Having started out as a Victim Support Caseworker and Independent Sexual Violence Advisor, emotionally and practically supporting sexual abuse survivors both inside and outside of the criminal justice system, I hold a particular passion for facilitating growth and change in those that have experienced the devastating impact of crime.

After qualifying and working as a counsellor in specialist domestic and sexual abuse projects for a considerable amount of time, I made the move into community work, assisting in the set up and delivery of  the therapeutic element of an alternative wellbeing project for families in North West Leicestershire. This background has enabled me to develop specialisms in parenting and neurodiversity, whilst also diversifying my knowledge into areas such as depression, anxiety, OCD, loss and bereavement, family, divorce and relationship struggles and self-harm and suicidal ideation.

Understanding that reaching out for help can be a daunting first step full of lots of uncertainty and anxiety, I am committed to fostering a culture where mental health is prioritised and treated just as openly and importantly as physical health. I can offer a complimentary 15–20-minute initial contact call to get to know one another and help you determine if my person-centred approach aligns with your needs. Please contact me today to make time for you and start working toward becoming all you're capable of being.
